In 2009, we launched new memory products based on NAND and NOR flash memory technology, as well as segment-specific products for the automotive industry. Our technology innovations include Phase Change Memory, advanced packaging solutions, and software to help our customers optimize memory utilization in their designs.
We also encourage employees at all of our sites to get involved in local communities through an initiative named Numonyx in your Neighborhood. As an example of this involvement, employees at our Folsom, California site donated more than 19,000 items of food and necessities to a local food bank, while employees in Muar participated in the Malaysia Deeparaya Festive Celebration to celebrate local culture with people from local orphanages and handicapped homes.
