Numonyx™ Automotive Burst Mode (M58BW)



    Numonyx Burst Mode, M58B family of Flash memories is especially suited to Automotive applications with x32 databus width and fast burst mode read.

    Optimised for engine control units, telematics and other automotive applications, the M58BW family is designed to interface with 2.5V low voltage microcontrollers operating in the full automotive temperature range from -40 to 125ºC. The device features 4, 8 or continuous long word synchronous burst mode reads. The M58BW16F and M58BW32F, enable higher performance and lower component count.   

    •  Automotive temperature range: -40º to +125º C
    • 16Mb or 32 Mb Flash memory with boot sectors
    • Burst mode x32 bit data bus
    • Compatibility between the two densities; same pinout and packages, same functionality with added features and speed improvements
    • Supply voltages: 2.7 to 3.6V (VDD memory core) and 2.5 to 3.3V (VDDQ for interfacing low voltage microcontrollers)
    • PQFP80, LBGA80 packages (RoHS compliant)
    • Endurance 100Kcyles and data retention of 20 years
