M25PE/M45PE are high capacity, non-volatile memories which offer a high level of granularity. Each page of 256 bytes can be individually erased and programmed, with a Write instruction that allows data updates at the byte level.

M25PE16 is the first Numonyx 16 Mb page-erasable serial flash with 4 Kbyte sectors. The M25PE16 can be erased a page at a time, a subsector at a time, a sector at a time, or as a whole using the Bulk Erase instruction. The fine Erase and Program granularity makes it ideal for storage of BIOS parameters. For applications requiring fast and light changes of program, the M25PE offers the best in flexibility.
